Kawa Nui Marsh has a combination of
native plants and
alien invaders.
An example of a native plant is the anapanapa. Some alien invaders are cattails, Vine Gourd and Haole Koa. One really bad alien invader is
the hyacinths that is now covering the marsh. It blocks the sun from
getting into the pond.
