Kawai Nui Marsh is a wetland located in Kailua, Oahu. It's the largest freshwater wetland in the state of Hawaii. It is very important to Kailua community because it helps to control floods. Kawai Nui is a large, significant home for Hawaii's plants and animals. Kawai Nui is very important because it has several endangered animals that are very important to Hawaii's culture and wildlife.
