USS Arizona Memorial - part of Hawaii's history

HAWAII is considered as one of the best vacation sites in the world.

Yearly, millions of tourists visit Hawaii, considered as the premier place for fun and excitement in the Pacific.

One of the famous historical sites in the island is the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center located adjacent to Kamehameha Highway, near the Aloha Stadium, between Ford Island Bridge and Pearl Harbor's Makalapa Gate.

The USS Arizona Visitor Center is a favorite historical site among tourists since the structure is built to honor the brave American soldiers and civilians who died during the Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese forces last December 7, 1942.

The treacherous attack by the Japanese military to the United States Pacific Fleet in Honolulu Hawaii is an important piece of world history.

The incident drove the Americans to launch a full-scale war against the Japanese soldiers to avenge the death 2,388 souls during the Pearl Harbor attack and to liberate nations occupied by the Asian soldiers and its allies.

 If you want to personally honor the victims of the attack and see the place where the bloody World War 2 battle between the Americans and Japanese soldiers occurred visit USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center now.

The USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center welcomes visitor all year-round from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving, December 25 and New Years Day, with tours every 15 minutes, and the last program starting at 3 p.m. Admission is free and tours are given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations are not accepted.

A trip to a historical site in Hawaii will not only educate people but will also help tourist understand the past in order to have a better future.

Remember a nation and its people could not move forward if they are unaware of their rich history.
